1.1 This standard deals with the installation of ceramic tiling and mosaics, as well as of Solnhofen stone tiles, natural stone tiles, natural stone mosaics and natural stone one-quarter tiles.1.2 This standard does not cover the installation of slabs made from natural stone (cf. DIN18332) or from cast stone (cf. DIN18333).1.3 Clauses 1 to 5 of DIN18299 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
