Describes requirements for hot and cold finished seamless and cold finished welded steel tubes for manufacture of fluid power cylinder barrels. It gives requirements for chemical compositions, mechanical properties, dimensional tolerances and technical delivery conditions for each type of tube. Section two gives requirements for base tubes for subsequent use as fluid power cylinder barrels, after further metal removal by cylinder manufacturer. Section three supplements requirements for specially finished tubes for assembly as fluid power cylinders.
