The objective of this document is to establish proposed generic requirements for communication using Common Management Information Services (CMISs) and Abstract Syntax Notation 1 (ASN.1) over the Embedded Operations Channel (EOD) of DS1-based Integrated Digital Loop Carrier Carrier (IDLC) systems that need requirements defined in GR-303-CORE, "Integrated Digital Loop Carrier System Generic Requirements, Objectives and Interface". This document replaces TR-TSY-000303, "Integrated Digital Loop Carrier (IDLC) System Generic Requirements, Objectives and Interface," Supplement 3 and its revision; and SR-NWT-002966, "Implementation Aid: Translation of IDLC TR-303 Supplement 3 Macros to GDMO Templates."
