Describes virgin unfilled polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) formed in molded rods, tubes and shapes. Used typically for parts such as seals, bearings, insulators, and back-up rings requiring chemical inertness and good mechanical and electrical properties up to 260 degrees C.
