In conjunction with the technical delivery conditions specified in DIN 17677 Part 2, specifies the properties of wrought copper and copper alloy wire. The properties of wire with dimensions outside the dimensional ranges specified shall be agreed at the time of ordering. Does not apply to copper wire for electrical purposes specified in DIN 40500 Parts 4 and 5; copper wire for stranded conductors specified in DIN 48200 Part 1; wire for telecommunication overhead lines specified in DIN 48300; round spring wire specified in DIN 17682.
