Specifications for details of body ends, design, marking, materials and preparation for transportation and storage for globe stop and check, copper alloy globe, check and gate valves. Specifies two valve series, A and B, each series differing in its maximum temperature ratings. Also gives definitions for nominal size (DN), nominal pressure (PN), class, face to face dimensions (for straight flanged valves), centre to face dimensions (for angle pattern flanged valves) and impregnation.
