Describes testing of fitted kitchen units without failure or significant damage. Two grades of units are specified. Tests are for repeated operation of drawers, doors and flaps, the loading of storage surfaces and for the exceptional loads that occur occasionally. Carcase handling tests are included to account for the loads encountered when assembling and installing. It should be understood that tests do not ensure that structural failure will not occur as a result of habitual mis-use or after a long period of service.
