Specifies the place and time of temperature measurements when welding products with wall thicknesses not exceeding 50 mm, using electric arc welding (E), tungsten inert gas welding (TIG), gas-shielded metal-arc welding (MSG) and submerged arc welding (SA) processes. Shall also be applied as appropriate in the case of other welding processes and larger wall thicknesses. Where short welds are to be made, e.g. for welding on pipes or nozzles, where necessary special requirements shall be agreed.
