Specifies a method for determining the tensile creep ofplastics in the form of standard test specimens underspecified conditions such as those of pre-treatment,temperature and humidity. The method is suitable for usewith rigid and semi-rigid non-reinforced, filled andfibre-reinforced plastics materials in the form ofdumb-bell-shaped test specimens moulded directly ormachined from sheets or moulded articles. The method isintended to provide data for engineering-design andresearch and development purposes.
