專家解讀視頻
This method describes the determination of total sediment in residual fuel oils with a maximum viscosity of 55 mm /s at 100 deg. C, and in blends of distillate fuels containing residual component. The maximum total sediment covered by the precision evaluations of this method are 0.50 per cent (m/m) in the case of residual fuels, and 0.40 per cent (m/m) in the case of distillate fuels containing residual components. Some fuels may exceed the maximum filtration time specified in this method due to factors other than the presence of significant quantities of insoluble organic or inorganic material. Comparison with the Sediment by Extraction (IP53) result may help in clarification.
