Applies to the waterproofing of buildings and structures or of building components which are not intrinsically impervious to water, with the aid of bituminous metals, plastics sealing sheeting and metal strips (see DIN 18195 Part 2) against moisture from the ground, as specified in DIN 18195 Part 4; water not exerting hydrostatic pressure, as specified in DIN 18195 Part 5, and water exerting hydrostatic pressure from the outside, as specified in DIN 18195 Part 6.
