Relates to fixed chip capacitors for direct current, with metallized electrodes and polyethylene-terephthalate dielectric for use in electronic equipment. These capacitors have metallized connecting pads or soldering strips and are designed for mounting directly onto substrates for hybrid circuits or onto printed boards. Gives preferred ratings and characteristics and selects from CECC 30000 appropriate quality assessment procedures, tests and measuring methods and describes general performance requirements for this type of capacitor. Capacitors for radio interference suppression are excluded, but are covered by IEC Publication 384-14.
