Specifies properties of wrought aluminium and aluminium alloy wire for the ranges of dimensions given in the tables. Applicable technical delivery conditions are covered in DIN 1790 Part 2. Does not apply to aluminium wire for electrical engineering in accordance with DIN 40 501 Part 4 and aluminium wire for stranded conductors in accordance with DIN 48 200 Parts 5 and 6.
