Magnetizing equipment for magnetic particle flaw detection is used for produce magnetic fields of suitable magnitude and direction in a test piece. This deals with hand equipment with electro-magnets and permanent magnets (hand magnets). They are used to magnetize the yoke of a test section of the test piece.
