Kraft and rag types of capacitor tissue paper up to 25 micrometres in thickness and density from less than 0.8 g/cm(sup)3 to 1.2 g/cm(sup)3 for use as capacitor dielectric. Thickness, condition of rolls, core, marking, packaging, substance and apparent density, electric strength at 90C, tensile strength, mineral ash, conductivity of aqueous extract, conductivity of organic extract, chloride content, sulphate content, freedom from conducting paths, stain test. Methods of test in appendices.
