Applies to instruments intended for measuring the heat which, in a heat-exchange circuit, is absorbed or given up by a liquid called the heat-conveying liquid. Also covers the minimum requirements for the documentation and for design, installation and commissioning of installations including heat meters, in order to ensure that the heat meter operates within its specified working range.
