This part of IS0 6107 defines terms used in certain fields of water qualitycharacterization.The terms and definitions are grouped under the following main headings:1 Termsrelating to types of water2 Termsrelating to treatment and storage of water and wastewater.NOTE 1In addition to the terms and definitions in the three official IS0 languages (English, French and Russian), this part of IS0 6107 gives the equivalent terms and their definitions in theGerman language; these have been included at the request of IS0 Technical Committee lSO/TC 147 and are published under the responsibility of themember bodies of Germany (DIN), Austria(ON) and Switzerland (SNV). However, only the terms and definitions in the official languages can beconsidered as IS0 terms and definitions.
