This Standard is included in DIN Handbook 221. The method specified serves to determine the dynamic modulus of elasticity of specimens made of carbonaceous or graphite materials (solids) at an ambient temperature of 18 to 28 degree C. The dynamic modulus of elasticity allows conclusions to be drawn on the elastic deformation behaviour (rigidity) of the material under test.
