Gives requirements for single and double cold reduced low carbon mild steel electrolytic tinplate in the form of sheets or coils for subsequent cutting into sheets. Applies to coils and sheets cut from coils in minimum widths of 600mm. Covers normative references, definitions, designation, manufacturing features, specific requirements, tin coating mass, mechanical properties, tolerances on dimensions and shape, joints within a coil, marking of differentially coated cold reduced tinplate, sampling, test methods, retests and dispatch and packaging.
