Proposes minimum requirements for eye protectors and associated lenses designed to provide protection for peoples eyes in the industrial environment. Types of protection offered are for molten metal, airborne particles and fragments, harmful gases, vapours and aerosols, and sunglare and optical radiation in the natural environment. Markings for lenses to indicate the type of protection offered are also included.
