Gives four methods for the measurement of thickness of conveyor belts that have a textile carcass. Methods A, B, C & D describes a method to determine total belt thickness, thickness of covers, thickness of carcass, and thickness of the interlayers.Applies only to belts that have a textile carcass. Included are methods suitable for belt constructions where the covers can be removed, and for constructions where covers cannot be removed. Not suitable or valid for light conveyor belts as described in EN 873.
