Specifies requirements and methods of test for factory-produced cellular plastic materials made from expanded polystyrene ('PS foam insulating materials', for short), which are used in the construction industry in the form of boards and sheets to provide impact sound insulation. These materials also serve to improve thermal insulation as well as, when used in screed construction, air-borne sound insulation.
