This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the hot-rolled steel plates of 780 N/mm*2 in tensile strength and 685 N/mm*2 in proof stress with excellent weldability, used for pressure vessels, high pressure equipment, and other structures. The steel products specified in Annex 3 and Annex 4 shall be also constituted provisions of this Standard. However, the matter in an Annex 2 to Annex 4 are concluded itself and independent of the matters specified in the body of this Standard. For this reason, it is not allowed to apply the parts of the provision specified in the body to the Annex. Similarly, the parts of the provision specified in Annex are not allowed to apply for the steel products specified in the body of this Standard.
