Describes administration sets, including burette sets, for use with blood, blood components and fluids other than blood. The administration sets specified are for single use with containers that require venting and non venting. The burette sets are for paediatric use and for other purposes for which the quantity of fluid administered needs to be monitored carefully or controlled. Also included are air inlet devices that are supplied separately from the administration set. Administration sets for use with platelet concentrates and cryoprecipitates and those for other specialist uses are excluded.
