Includes updated single phase MEPS requirements for 2006/2008. Proposes requirement for energy labelling for single-phase ducted and non-ducted airconditioners of the vapour compression type intended for household and similar use. Also proposes minimum energy performance standard (MEPS) requirements for three-phase and single-phase ducted and non-ducted airconditioners of the vapour compression type intended for household, commercial and similar use, up to a rated cooling capacity of 65kW. It does not cover multi-split systems or evaporative coolers, nor does it include requirements for electrical safety. Proposed as an Australian/NewZealand Standard.
