Applies to protective layers on waterproofing of buildings and structures against moisture from the ground, as specified in DIN 18195 Part 4; water not exerting hydrostatic pressure, as specified in DIN 18195 Part 5, and water exerting hydrostatic pressure from the outside, as specified in DIN 18195 Part 6. Also applies to the protective measures which have to be taken in order to protect the waterproofing of the buildings against damage before completion of the building.
