Defines a method for determining the mass per unit area of sheet moulding compounds and preimpregnated unidirectional sheet, fabrics and mats. Unless stated otherwise, it applies to prepregs whichever reinforcement type (aramid, carbon, glass and so on) or matrix (thermosetting or thermoplastic) is used.
