Gives general information relating to the methods of testing protective helmets and defines commonly used terms. Specifies sizing, contours, materials and details of headforms (commonly referred to as the ISO headforms) for use in testing of protective helmets. Details of a headform proposed as suitable for testing protective helmets for children under four years of age have been included.
