This standard specifies flexible framework for the control of welding where there is case of resistance welding , which require the manufacturer to have a quality system in accordance with EN ISO 9001 or EN ISO 9002 or quality system other than EN ISO 9001 or EN ISO 9002 or where manufacture is developing a quality system or to provide specific requirements for references in application standard which uses resistance welding as part of its requirements or in a contract between the relevent parties.
