Applies to the operation and maintenance of small sewage treatment plants with sewage aeration conforming to DIN 4261 Part 2. It specifies the proper operation of small sewage treatment plants and gives instructions regarding their maintenance at regular intervals. If plant components in accordance with DIN 4261 Part 1 are installed either upstream or downstream of the plant concerned, due consideration shall also be given to the specifications of DIN 4261 Part 3.
