Adopts ISO?12239:2003, which provides requirements, test methods, performance criteria, and manufacturer's instructions for smoke alarms that operate using scattered light, transmitted light, or ionization, intended for household or similar residential applications. It has been varied for Australian conditions.

標(biāo)準(zhǔn)備注

AS 12239 has been withdrawn and will be re-published when the current revision of its international version, ISO 12239 is complete. This Standard may be changed significantly when re-published. It is intended that AS 12239 will replace AS 3786 Smoke alarms, but until such a time, AS 3786 is to remain as the current Australian Standard for smoke alarms.
