Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC 13818-2:2000, Amendment 1:2001 and Technical Corrigendum 1:2002, which specifies the coded representation of picture information for digital storage media and digital video communication and specifies the decoding process. Copies of ISO/IEC 13818-2:2000, Amdt 1:2001 and Corr.1:2002 text can be viewed at or purchased from Standards Australia or Standards New Zealand head office. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
