Proposes particular requirements for the safe design and manufacture of X-ray equipment used in computed tomography. A thorough working knowledge of its parent Standard AS/NZS 3200.1.0, or a readily available copy, is necessary to deal with some of the technical issues raised. It is identical with and reproduced from IEC 60601-2-44:1999. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
